Web2011 Tundra I’m looking to buy a 2011 rock warrior and I was wondering if there’s any common problems that are year specific? I know the cam tower leak is a big issue with the 5.7 but is there any years that it’s worse than others?? WebI found an insanely clean 2013 tundra 4.6, passenger side appears to have the cam tower leak, but the truck is the nicest one I have seen and the price is good. Any issue if you just drive the truck and keep the oil level good? I wouldn't be against fixing it someday but I'm not in a rush to do it now.

During the process, the dealer crack the passenger side cylinder head and replaced that and the head gasket with a new OEM head. My guess is that the timing cover head to come off during all of this.
